A two-sided mobile marketplace connecting sellers and buyers, with booking and payments handled end-to-end inside the app.

Challenge

The client needed a mobile-first booking experience that could handle real-time availability and in-app payments without the backend collapsing under concurrent booking attempts for the same slot.

Solution

We built a React Native client on top of a purpose-built booking API, with optimistic locking to prevent double-bookings and a background job queue to handle payment confirmation asynchronously.
